Today the spotlight falls on Leelu Mann, a senior at our school and longtime resident of Salt Spring Island. Leelu enjoys painting (especially with acrylics), listening to music, doing drag, hanging out with his friends, and is well known by the theatre community in our school as a former GISPA student. Now, on to the interview!

Violet: “If you had a magic wand and could change anything about our school, what would you change?”

Leelu: “I’d add new classes like sewing.”

Violet: “If school was a movie, what movie would we be in?”

Leelu: "Every day I feel like I'm in 21 Jump Street.”

Violet: “If you could have anyone as your teacher, who would it be?”

Leelu: "Well, that's a loaded question because there's teachers I like for different reasons, but I'd want to have a class with Mr. Kerr, that's not SHIFT, because he's fun to talk to.”

Violet: “And finally, if you could share one thing with the school, what would you say?”

Leelu: “Trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat.”

Thank you very much, Leelu for sharing your thoughts!
