The girls have had a season full of ups and downs, but their progress is through the roof. They had great success at their tournament last weekend qualifying for North Islands, and now they will be battling in Campbell River to earn a spot at Islands. They battled hard on Halloween to finish the season winning against Kelsey and having a close game against Brentwood. They have each made immense progress and have grown together as a team and individuals. They are eager to put their best efforts toward their next tournament and ensure that their season continues, and their achievements can exceed further. In the North Islands the girls will be playing Isfeld, Carihi, and Ballenas. The matches will be tough, but we all know the girls will fight hard and put their best foot forward.

North Islands Update: This past weekend our girls had their North Islands tournament where they put up a great fight to show why they deserved a spot. Their first game against Isfeld was quite a nail biter, they lost the first set which made the stakes high but managed to take the second and third sets, winning the game. The scores were close against Carihi and Ballenas, but they unfortunately lost, putting them in third place. The next day the pressure was high as they faced Brentwood; the game was thrilling and evenly matched, and the girls fought their hardest but ended up losing. Their next game was against Wellington which they won in two sets resulting in a rematch against Carihi where if they won, they would have a challenge match on Monday against Lambrick. The girls played their hardest but ended up losing to Carihi. Ultimately, the Senior Girls played their hearts out and showed much improvement from the beginning, which is the perfect way to end their season.
