The Scorpion raffle is a new annual event where student athletes have been asked to sell raffle tickets for a chance to win a $5000 cash prize. The lucky winner of this year’s raffle was Ian Williamson, who is none other than the dad of an athlete that attends GISS. The money raised will go to funding the team's travel, equipment, uniforms, tournament fees, and teacher-coach coverage, and will greatly impact the athletics program. The more tickets sold, the more improvement GISS will receive. We greatly appreciate your participation and support towards our athletic program; it means more than you know.

GISS has put this together to ensure that everyone benefits from it and with the help of the students and buyers together, we can successfully see to your needs and ours. This is more than just a fundraiser. This will make a difference at our school and winning a raffle could greatly improve your life as well!

This is not the only new tradition that has been brought to GISS. We also held a pep rally, where fall athletes gathered to play friendly matches against our own teams and teachers with the support of everyone who attends GISS. This not only brings school spirit but invites teams who share a common interest to create new connections with friendly competition.
