Mr. Donaldson has taught a few units this semester, such as short stories and poetry. As of right now, Mr. Donaldson’s class is in their research unit, and have just finished their presentations about their chosen topics of research.
We interviewed various Grade 10 students about the various events that go on in Mr. Donaldson’s classroom.
“What is your favourite part of Mr. Donaldson’s class?”
“I like when we did poem writing. It calmed me” - Daylin Kodaly
“I really enjoyed our poetry unit. It was fun” - Eliza Argo
“We heard that Mr. Donaldson asks great attendance questions to start class. If you can remember, what was your favourite?”
“The one where he asked what our first encounter with fire was. That one was fun to answer” - Juliana Lange
“One time Mr. Donaldson asked how we would write character dialogue. He asked me how my grandad would talk to me during tennis and I did an accent to answer that question.”
- Rachel Skinner
“When he asked us our favourite music/song, I liked that question.” - Sascha Miller
“Do you think Mr. Donaldson should take on singing?”
“I think he’d be a great opera singer” - Rachel Skinner
“I think he should. We need to do some digging to find the perfect song for him”
-Daylin Kodaly
“Yes - and tell Mr. Donaldson that me, Rachel, and Sophie want to do an interpretive dance in front of the class with him” - Juliana Lange
Thank you to everyone that was interviewed!
