Wood Burned Bird House
Violet Miller, Grade 12

I made this piece because It had been a long time since I had wood burned anything and I wanted to get back into the flow. I figured that the best way to stretch my abilities was to try depicting birds, because they require an amount of detail that's very hard to do with the chunky wood burning tool. What originally started out as a practice piece became a two-week project, and I'm very happy to share it with everyone.
