Wood Burned Bird House Violet Miller, Grade 12 I made this piece because It had been a long time since I had wood burned anything and I wanted to get back into the flow. I figured that the best way to stretch my abilities was to try depicting birds, because they require an amount of detail that's very hard to do with the chunky wood burning tool. by Nadia Cooper Gulf Islands School of Performing Arts (GISPA) is an impressive combination of dance, theatre, and music. A year long program that students work hard to be a part of to put on one epic show. Students prepare for an involved audition that takes place in the spring, before the summer and the coming school year.
